eye boogers

So I woke up this morning, and I rubbed my eyes to find this gooey stuff around my eyes. Gross. So then I did a bit of further inspection and noticed that there was more where that came from. Apparently, there was some kind of booger-like substance coming from my eyes as I slept throughout the night. Is this normal? Am I going to die?

OMG !!! I never thought of that! Oh, god somebody get the ambulence! Oh Lord everything is turning a faint grey color. Can't breath. Pain. agh. hits the floor

Yea, I mean, I know it's normal to have "sand" crap in your eyes when you wake up in the morning, but this was like gooey junk :p
