Eye Baggage

I have really deep, dark, puffy under eye circles and I’m only 17!! I have tried getting more rest, getting less rest (in case I was oversleeping), cucumbers, eye masks, and lotions/creams to get rid of them! But i’ve run out of options and they are worst than ever!!! What else can I do???

Re: Eye Baggage

I have the same prob.. but mine run in the family! The only thing that helps is adequate sleep and keeping yourself hydrated. And yes try to avoid your computer screen as much as you can!

Re: Eye Baggage

Join the club, I went to doctors about them when i was 14, and she just basically said its 'asian skin', She showed me a book she showed me different skins or different races. If you notice mostly asian people have them, i dont know why, i dont know how to get rid, only thing you can do is conceal.

Re: Eye Baggage

same here! they are not veerryy dark but its is kind of red-blue-dark type of blend, and the bags are not that bad, but just that it is visible since its kind of thin aswell and makes a 'shaded' effect.. nd im 17 too :(

Re: Eye Baggage

Its all genetic. I don't have them but my daughter inherited them from her dad; she's only 4 but already has these shadows under her eyes as my husband and his family all have deep-set eyes with dark circles underneath :(

Re: Eye Baggage

Same here and it sucks. Concealer k illawah there is no solution.

Re: Eye Baggage

it sucks!! no one in my immediate family has them except me!

Putting cucumbers, potatoes or tea bags on them will help.. or a spoon out of the freezer in the mornings when you don't have time.

Re: Eye Baggage

one major reason is allergies see if that is causing it.

Sleeping with an extra pillow under u're head helps drain the fluid from your face, adequate sleep..normal iron levels.

Re: Eye Baggage

For dark circles, try almond oil, it does work. Garnier lite is good too. For fine lines, loreal anti aging night cream worked for me. Also, i have heard good reviews regarding total effects 7.

Ok i hopped over these two to find puffiness is there too. Just slight, but it is there. Now someone help me:(

Re: Eye Baggage

doesn’t putting two pillows under head give a double chin? :hmmm:

Re: Eye Baggage

^ Lol really? I've never heard that, Or having 2 pillows to prevent eye baggage. You get a double chin if your chubby. And eye bags well its either genetic or lack of sleep i guess.

Re: Eye Baggage

I agree with Gina. I am on iron supplements and my dark circles have improved a lot.

lol, its just something ive heard or maybe read.. i dont remember haha

^ Put it in the ridiculous myth’s thread

Re: Eye Baggage

when you wake up,rub your palms/hands together until you feel them warm, close your eyes, put warm palms on your eyes.your eyes will feel the heat.this heat would help reducing dark circles.

Hi

Agree with you all it is GENETICS and it runs in the family. I have light skin inherited from my mums side and dark circles from my dads. The best under eye cream i have ever used is called Hylexin. Google it. You have to keep using it and you'll see your dark circles will diminish and you wont need to wear concealer.

If your really committed go see a top plastic surgeon and he'll sort you out. Make sure it is a top surgeon. I know one in Toronto who also has a practice in New York. Im thinking about going. Although my dark circles have almost gone i have hollow eyes i want to get rid off.

Hope this helps!
