According to which God are you talking about? Your own God? or God "defined" by religions?
Even according to man-made laws not all are equal (based on crimes etc.)
Everyone CANNOT be equal if they committ different crimes, sins. If all of us are "crime-less, sin-less" then we may be equal but since that is not true so we are not equal.
laws are not equal depending on crimes i.e depending on ones deeds. But when one is born whether as a muslim or hindu or christian he is equal in eye of god. After born how you lead your life makes ur good or bad in eye of god. Just being a muslim and praising allah whole day wont help.

Every follower praises divine power with different names. And i do not think he wants us to praise him every minute of our life as he is not self centered.
He wants us to live a better life and make good deeds and I dont think so following a particular religion will give u a green card. God is not a bigot.
