We applied my brother’s US passport in November 2011. After 2 months, state department told us that they need more evidence that he’s the saga beta of mom and dad. His birth was registered in Pakistan but the date was wrong and none of us noticed until now(our mistake). We got the changes on his BC. And his registeration was also late. So, state department did ask for his hospital and school records from Pakistan and my parents marriage certificate.We sent everything in February. But still no response. We’ve called them so many times and they were always telling us that they’re working on his passport and we should check back in couple of days/end of this week/mid of next week. All these responses from this number 1-877-487-2778 and thats the only number on the letter we got from State Department. And two weeks ago, my brother called them and the perosn who answered the phone said they’re not even working on it. And took the notes that we need the passport by thi date. My older brother is getting married next month and we’re leaving aroung April 20th. But coz of younger’s passport, we’re kind of stuck. Any suggestions/direct numbers to contact them. Its been such a nightmare contacting them.
Note: He was 15 years old when my dad became US. Citizen so he doesn’t have to go through Naturalization Process.
