Where are they? It seems that most fast bowlers these days are settling for a pace of 85mph/136kph. Last time a Pakistani bowled faster than 90mph/145kph was Shoaib Akhtar in the recently concluded world cup. Umar Gul and Aizaz Cheema are both in the mid-130s.
Shaun Tait has retired, Brett Lee has fitness issues. However, it was nice to see Peter Siddle bending his back and constantly touching the 150 mark in the current test against New Zealand.
