Extreme

Re: Extreme

I think I agree with trusting muslims what they tell us but if someone has doubt in his heart regarding other muslim's served meat then that is also fine with me.

Trusting every muslim even a scholar blindly, and on the other hand, not trusting any muslim when he shows the proof.....being on either side means extreme.

this post itself is an extreme view of things. just bcos they don’t confine to your views/opinions…they have become extremists in your eyes and you in theirs. a vicious cycle which will take you to nowhere.

what kind of proof you want? and if someone shows you the proof...are you going to accept it as is or you will question its authenticity as well? or you only want proof from a scholar you follow and trust?

bahanay hazaar hain agar kuch kerna na ho...

Re: Extreme

I do not think its a matter of not trusting other person. That was my first reaction when I heard about my friend but then I had a second thought.

Its a matter of being careful for someone what to consume. Everyone has a way of interpreting what they think is best for them. Some people like to see exactly how the meat was made.

Its not hidden that even so called halal/zabiha places sell non-halal/zabiha food and if someone is just knowingly buying that then its OK but some people do not want to take chance Thats all.

It does look like someone is trying to show off however, the holier than thou kind of feeling might be ours. Kinda self guilt for no reason. People are Ok if you do not feed them meat. They do not insist on that.

By the way I personally eat at my friends with no particular exception.

I am just giving a thought to be tolerant and not be annoyed with careful people.
