Seriously to what extreme end people go? I have two or three friends who didn’t eat chicken for two years because their so called husbands haven’t confirmed where the chicken is coming from or how they cut it?**One of our relatives mother died and the son didn’t come to his mother’s funeral because he was busy in raye wind doing jamat work.So it was more important and his sister saw in dream since he was so busy in right work that ALLAH granted his mother jannah and she was happy.Wallah alam but to me its a bit extreme.And one of my relatives told us that woman’s real hajj is considered when she performs hajj with her husband.What about all the mehrams their hajj is not a hajj if they do it with their sons or dad:vivo: **
Anyways this thread is not open to offend maulvis but my question is that to what extend care is required?I know namaz,zakat, hajj and roza these are fard and major things to avoid eat halaal, avoid lies, no soud or alchohol and some major things but when you say this muslim is not good so I don’t wanna buy chicken from this one guy or this person is not coming to masjid to say his prayers how can I trust him he is telling a truth is a bit too much extreme.

Share your views on it how you will deal with such stuff if these people come into your lives and try to take hold of you oh you are not doing this thing you are not a muslim. Or your hajj is not proper because you didn’t do it with your husband .

A lot of those things is due to a lack of education . I do take exception from the chicken part of your paragraph- because I am one of those people that are very picky about halaal and haraam. Mostly because of these these ayahs and hadiths I’ve been taught at the masjids:

O Messengers, eat from the pure foods and work righteousness”
(Holy Quran 23:51)

O you who have believed, eat from the pure things which we have provided you” (Holy Quran 2:172)

O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth (that is) lawful and pure”
(Holy Quran 2:168)

So eat of that (meat) upon which Allah’s name has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses” (Holy Quran 6:118)
“And do not eat that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed it is a grave disobedience”. (Holy Quran 6:121)

” Allah’s Messenger PBUH said: Verily Allah is pure and He accepts only what is pure and indeed Allah has given those orders to the believers, which he has given to the Messengers. He has said, “O Messenger, eat from the pure foods and work righteous”.
He -also- has said: “O you who have believed, eat from the pure things which we have provided you.” Then (the Prophet PBUH) made mention of a man who undergoes a lengthy journey in a state that he is dishevelled and dusty. He spreads his hands towards the sky (calling), “O my lord, O my lord”, however his food is Haram, his drink is Haram, his clothes are Haram and he has been nourished with Haram! So how will his call be answered?” (Muslim)

S’ad RA relates: Allah’s messenger PBUH said “O S’ad purify your food (and as a result) you will become one who’s supplications are accepted. I swear by He in whose hands the soul of Muhammad PBUH lies, verily a servant (of Allah) tosses a Haram morsel in his stomach (due to which) no deed is accepted from him for 40 days” (Tabarani)

Abu Baker RA narrated that Allah’s Messenger PBUH said “That body will not enter Paradise which has been nourished with Haram” (Baihaqi)

Ka`b Ibn Ujrah relates that the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) said, “a body nourished with Haram will not enter Jannah”. (Tirmidhi)

Jabir RA reported, Allah’s Messenger PBUH said, “That flesh will not enter Paradise which has grown from Haram, and all that flesh which has grown from Haram, the fire (of hell) is more worthy of it.” (Ahmed, Darimi, Baihaqi)

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reports that the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) said, “a time will come upon the people wherein a man will not bother what he intakes; whether from Halal source or Haram.” (Bukhari)

I don’t really care what other people do, but yeah I do make 100% sure where my meat is coming from, and call food companies to make sure it deosn’t have any pork/non halaal meat ingredients. I don’t really mention it to many people, becaue most people are like you-- they give me a lecture on how i’m overdoing it- so i genearlly keep it to myself.

I agree with all the other things though- alot of that is because of lack of education in Islam . what you should do is find sources in the Quran and hadith that back your viewpoint- you will be educating yourself and others that way. Like for example the hajj thing: Tell them that is not true— quote Quran ayahs, hadiths that show that- It will help YOU AND YOUR FRIEND!
