Someone I know has an amazing ability of ESP. It’s uncanny, to the point that it freightens me at times. I’ve known this person since I was a child, and the things I have heard, seen, and experienced would send shivers down anyones spine. I used to secretly fear this friend of mine, but never told her. One day this friend came to realize that I did and told me that theres nothing to fear, that its no great ability the person has, thats its nothing. I dont believe its nothing. In some ways I think its a blessing to that person, from Allah, but I think that I would live in constant fear if I had been given this ability. So I thank Allah that I dont have it.
Do you know anyone who has this certain sensory perception with people? Would you want to be like that?
I admit that sometimes I am very intrigued and wonder how in the world can someone do that, but I think its best to just be happy with what you are.
Although I wonder if everyone has certain abilities that they are unaware of.
YES I do know what u mean dear...i have met some extraordinarily gifted ppl in my life.. i myself am blessed with the ability to sense the presence of danger.. some ppl work on their inner senses and some of it is a gift from Allah...
My dreams come true pretty often. I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
Btw, I have an amazing ESP when it comes to TV programs and I'm not even kidding :D

id i recall correctly, i read somewhere there are different kinds, e.g. telepathy (communication using ur mind, not using ur other senses)...precognition (the "deja vu" experience, knowin somethin b4 it happens)...psychometry (touch somethin and find out bout its history)...there are other kinds as well which i don't remember...

Hum Sa, hmm, I guess if they are good dreams then its a good thing, mash'Allah. I think a lot of people experience deja vu at some point in their lives. I used to quite a bit when I was in grade 10, but then it stopped. I personally see it as a test of the mind, but thats just me.

Munda, I meant several types of ESP combined with this person. Now you know why I found her to be kinda scary. Not really her, but her "gifts". However ever since she figured out I was scared by it, she no longer tells me that many things. Perhaps for the best.
I also experience certain things, but not so often, although I think that if I paid more attention, I would experience them more often.
I was talking to this imam once and he was telling my family (we all stayed after the jammat) about his experience. He was saying how whatever would happen around him, he would get signs about it. Like people who were'nt good for him, and business deals he should avoid, etc. It was very interesting to hear it from an imam. He said for him, getting closer to Allah is what made these signs start appearing. He also said other stuff which freaked me out a bit but wont mention them here.
