Now we’re nearing the end Ramadan i was thinking about the 7 extra roze that we are asked to keep. My question is that if u have missed a number of roze during ramadan you will obviously need to keep those, and then also the extra ones. But how long can u go on keeping these extra roze. I was once told that this couldn’t go on for more than 10 days. Is that true???

Maybe you mean the six of the month following the month of Ramadan? The ones you're rewarded for extra if you do them right after Eid?

Those may be nafli rozay, but not "must", there is no limit to it, but make sure to stay healthy.

so theres no limit??? ok, because my mom was told by a guy from work that the max. u could keep after ramadan was 10?

The limit is “health”. In Prophet PBUH’s time, there was a guy who asked about benefits of fasting and left to his village, a year later he visited Prophet PBUH again and was found to be very weak when asked he told Prophet PBUH that he had been fasting almost all past 12 months, Prophet PBUH told him not to do that (for health reasons).

the Prophet (saw) has said in a saheeh hadith that whoever follows the fasting of Ramadhan by 6 days of fasting in Shawwal, then he is rewarded as if he fasted the whole year....
these 6 days of fasting can be any 6 days in Shawwal (except the first day ofcourse) and need not be consecutive....
the days missed in Ramadhan can be made up any time, but its preferred to finish them off as soon as possible....
but one cud first finish the 6 fasts in shawwal and then complete the missing days of Ramadhan....
