Extra marital affairs do not make a home... they break it!
A guy may go out and have other relationships and the wife may never know it, or the wife may do the same ... but once out of the box - then it would be very difficult to "keep" that person without any stain in the relationship

In desi communities home only breaks if a wife is doing it . So women should have an exit strategy if they are doing it and in case they get caught. It is a big stigma for women in any society if they cheat and get caught not for men.

Extra marital affairs in any society is frowned upon. In western countries, even though movies and TVs might show it as something exciting, in real life, it is still considered as bad in western countries. Ofcourse, some cultures are more tolerable then others.
