Hi everyone!
My newborn, who is now a month old or so, has extra hair on his forehead and back. This i’ve been told will shed naturally. Do you guys know how long it will take for this hair to go?? And also whether I can do anything to speed this process up? i.e massage etc??

very light massage using a thin paste of wheat flour or besan regularly will help

hmmmmm my babys 12 days alhumldulilah, can i still use this on her....?and how long does it take...do i put it on and wash off straightaway...

my baby, who was born a preemie, also had lanugo on his back and slight on his forehead. I did'nt do much except for massage his body with baby oil and few times a week. The hair goes away by itself and as the baby grows in weight and body, you notice the hair less and less. So don't worry, give it a couple of months and it'll disappear on its own. The funny thing is that he was born with no or almost golden eyebrows, which are now getting darker.

Like Vital Signs my baby a premie was born with hairs on her forehead and back , she too did not have eyebrows and also eye lashes. My doctor strictly told me for not doing the massage and other stuff till the due date so I did what proto has mentioned after the due date . The hairs really goes away naturally you don't have to do anything. Once the baby is born a million changes happens physically , so don't worry all hairs will be gone.
and my baby is going to be a year old this month insha allah and her adjusted age will be 10 months but she still has some hairs left on her forehead where as back is completely clear now.

do not use any thing on ur baby's skin. Excessive hair growth ll go away on its own around 5 months. Just Massage ur baby with olive oil mix with johnsons baby oil before shower.

Sadii thankyou for your tip about the olive oil. I have been recommended this tyip by other family and friends and hubby and I have started doing this for the past week or so. Are there any other tips that you could recommend?
