In my family extra curricular activities were never encouraged , we were expected to spend more time in studies and minimum time in eca’s . So I missed out being member of any student club or student body. What about you ? What kind of eca’s you were/are in as a student ?
No spending time on GS or FB does not count.

i’ve done volunteering, been part of a few clubs, did some organizing for some events, and had some chaand raat parties 
is that enough to garner me a promotion now?

…my far gone student days aside, i really want to work for the Samaritans, but i’d have to put in some odd hours.

I was into swimming, art, horseback riding (which I gave up after my horse pushed me over ), piano (didn’t do a whole lot after 2 years in college), and big time social work activities like going with mom on health projects, helping build shelters for the underprivileged.

during uni i played for the soccer team, racquetball team, student government, fraternity, academic groups, social clubs etc.
It was fun, and I am glad I took the time.
