Well, that shows once again that Iftikhar is a PMLN stooge. And all that talk about lawyers movement, judiciary, etc. was a lie.
If Iftikhar really cares about justice and is not blinded by political prejudice then he should open up cases against Nawaz just like what he did with Zardari.

Bad idea. Last time NS gave extension to Mushy 2 months latter he was in jail. Btw, appointment of judges is not up to the govt...I dunno how PMLN will prevent CJ extension? Aren't judges appointed by JC after the 18th Amendment?

Justice Iftikhar had shown his displeasure at extensions given to heads of departments. I hope he declines any extension offer.

The courts would be deciding this, it would be interesting to watch the outcome. I hope they don't set different criteria for themselves.

A ruling in favour for extention would bring bad name both for the courts and for the CJ himself as it would be seen as a form of nepotism. In case if a court ruling recommonds extension, stil the CJ should forego it.

Cheap Justice has no credibility and good name left. Everyone that I met in Pakistan spoke negatively of him. He deserved every bit that he received from Mushy.

Seems like Sharif courts are already in action. Countless pleas to the courts for recounts from PTI and other parties fell on deaf ears. Yet a provincial PML-N candidate from Sindh gets immediate action from CJ.
