I find it rather difficult to understand the logic of not expressing things such as “U r looking pretty today” ,…“Although i have seen u in this dress often before but tonight…ohh Gawd” etc. The excuse i hear, is pretty odd one, “roz roz kahnay se baat ki ahmiyat khatam ho jati hai”. & then u never hesitate to compliment ur wife’s friends, sisters etc even in front of her.
My three questions from both of u (Men & Women).
Do u think its essential to compliment lil things of ur companion in a relationship or do u think things will loose there importance?
If u think things loose there importance with ur companion, then under what rule/logic u compliment other ppl in front of ur partner?
& would u like/appreciate if ur partner compliment others for the same things/dresses/makeups u do & u dont get a compliment??

Yes it is essential..,because compliments liek that from your mate just make you feel soooo wonderful...naah things won't lose their importance...ofcourse if your lying coz you want her to cook biryani for you then she'll get a bit pissed

A general statement is ok..but no over the top and words and I will definetly NEVER use teh same words that I use when complimenting my partner

I dont compliment women unless i think it is necessary. Basically it has to saw damn you are looking good tonight and then i say something. Compliment when necessary or when she is a bad mood or upset.
Essential only if it is true. Dont start giving out fake compliments. Because then there are expectations. Keep it to a minimal and it stays “special”
Define lose importance and go ahead and compliment other girls infront of your partner. A bit of jealousy never hurt any man that much
Go ahead. Why should you limit yourself because of your partner. After all you are two different individuals with different preferences. Do what you want. If she doesnt understand, tell her what you like and explain it to her. Plus she should be confident enough to know you are with her for some reason. So she shouldnt get all huffy on you.
YES!!! it is essential ............. for the good relationship there is always need to compliment nodoubt action speak louder than words but words do matter:)

Yes it is very very essential ... your love and your caring attitude reflects from such little compliments.. these little things make your love bond stronger and stronger with time... and No things wont loose their importance.. Never!
