Expressing our feelings

I always thought, that the female species was way more talented in this department.. well in expressing themselves. But, lately ive realised.. males are just as good, if not better..

I dunno, if it depends on shyness, confidence or what.. but I find myself not being able to say a word sometimes! its like “ummm yeap… ummz yes.. uh huh.. hmmm yes i agree”

then there are other times when I just cant shut up.. i guess thats also cus im shy and nervous… actually people say its the “bubbliness”.. i’ll let them believe that..

khair… whats ur opinion? i personally think guys are heaps better in expressing themselves and getting the point across

Re: Expressing our feelings

Yeah, it's mostly because we have a one track mind.Don't take my word for it, just go see this dude lajawab's posts in the nostril thread.

Re: Expressing our feelings

What’s that supposed to mean?

Re: Expressing our feelings

hmm interesting observation...

i think females (ie me) have 10 million things on our minds at once and it just all comes out like gibberish...

Re: Expressing our feelings

I think there were a few, very capable ladies who had single mindedness of purpose…Islamic history is full of them…They were entitled in dire needs to become leaders, and they rose to the challenge better than any man possibly could…Hazrat Ayesha :razi:, Razia Sultana, Rabia Basri Qalandar…(Many others which I can’t recall)…

They knew their purpose…They are our mothers and sisters…How can any Muslim insult his mother or sister? The entire Ummah’s sisters are our sisters except four…')

What a lie the media spreads about muslims disrespecting Muslim women…

Anyways…

It’s aight…

Re: Expressing our feelings

^ im sorry? i wasnt insulting anyone. I was referring to myself

Re: Expressing our feelings

Didn’t say you were…I was just referring to something else…

Re: Expressing our feelings

Iam not so sure, cause women are always complaining to their spouses for their lack of openness, poor response time and very little to say.

Men folk, well they use GIGO (Garbage-in Garbage-out)…easy come easy go…silence is gold…so on so forth…

Re: Expressing our feelings

 I’m soo like that

i'm totally like that but sometimes i talk a lot to stop myself from feeling shy/nervous. i think my husband has better communication skills than i do. he's the quiet type but he expresses himself really well.

Re: Expressing our feelings

awww  im not alone hehe…

larki, i sooo know what u mean. Im a motormouth when im nervous… im like non-stop chatter box

Re: Expressing our feelings

i find that too, whenever i leave a situation i always think to myself why didnt i just say what i was feeling! esp when im with my hubby, he's really quiet but he says when he's with me he talks alot and i just stay quiet....im such a shy person and in some situations i find it really annoying i wish i could just say what i was feeling! its really frustrating! and then the few times when i do take the plunge it all just comes out wrong :(
