any helpfull ideas on how one goes about exporting a car from uk to pakistan. probably get no replies but thanx in advance 
Not to sure myself how you would export it but phone up a few shipping companies they should help you out. I got a feeling you get a massive tax for importing car's in PAK.
I know a person who does export cars to Pakistan. I will try and contact him and get some info.

I did export my car from London.
Its quite simple actualy.
Contact a local shipping agent. You require your ownship papers to show them
They will cut a Bill of Lading for you and give the ‘Port’ details for car drop off. Mine was the ‘Southampton’ port.
You’ll be informed by phone or mail the ‘PortCall’ in Pkaitsna.
Get your car ‘Greased up for the journey’ to protect against sea water and moister while enroute..local workshops can advise you on this…
never use wax to coat the car body for this journey…
Approx freight from Southhampton to Karachi 2000 pounds.
arrival in approx 45 adys
Contact local customs agent in karachi;
they will get your car apprasied by customs / pay duty / and kmc charges for , i forgot,
You can drive this car in Pakistan under your UK plate for 6 months , i think,I don;t know the local duty tarrifs,you have to find out from Pak embassy in London,

the catch here is import duty which can be as much as 120% for cars and even more for bigger vehicles
