I got a lovely cotton suit as a gift but the trousers have some cream thread embriodery at the bottom and would look so much better if they were just plain black. I’m thinking of dyeing them black so that the embroidery becomes black too. is this a crazy idea? I’ve never used dyes and might end up ruining the trousers altogether. Should I just live with the embroidery at the bottom?
Any advice? or experiences of dyeing sucesses/disasters? especially where embroidery is involved? thanks

dyeing always is disaster
i have bought Maria B, Sana Safinaz and Nomi Ansari embroidery suits and when got dry cleaned it ended up having millions of colors :(
but! may be it was just those particular suits...... 0_0
Drop it off to a professional.. tell them you want it all black, including the embroidery.
Not easy to find professonal dyeing services in UK. I will enquire at some dry cleaners........but don't want to spen too much money as suit was only about 800 rupees......
