Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

Salam everyone, I just wanted to know about anyone and everyone’s experience (good or bad) of online Quran teaching for kids.

My daughters are 3 and 2 years old and we are thinking of moving in the next 12 months and the chances of finding local islamic teachings are proving to be very difficult so I wanted to try the online Quran teaching for when my daughters are just a little bit older but I have no experience of this and don’t know if it will work.

Brothers and sisters i would really appreciate your help and advise on this matter.

Thank you. Xx

Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

It's really good! My son started online Quran reading in April 2011. He'll be done in October this year InshAllah. His teacher is very good and increases the time as required.
I would say go with it!

Prairie girls, thank you so much for your response.

Do you mind me asking you how old your son was when he first started? And did the imam speak in English or Urdu? Thank u so much in advance . Xx

Re: Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

I know my cousins do it, but haven't witnessed it, they like it very much....

Re: Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

Peace noorqt,

Just wanna ask that why don't you teach your kidz by yourself?

Re: Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

my friends are doing this too with their kids.. and they are all praises... the qari explains things well and also teaches namaz.. they dont do it themselves cuz they are in doubt and want the kids to learn everything properly.

the kids are 6 and up

i doubt they have lessons for 3 and 2 yr olds.. i asked for my son who is 3 and they said no.. they start from 5 yrs of age.

*salam
It is the best option if you find the right person to teach your kids. Your kid is learning in front of you and you can judge him and you are always in touch with the teacher.

I myself teach some kids from PAK, USA and CA. They are doing good and the parents are satisfied. AL-HAMDULILLAH

Re: Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

Because sometimes kids learn better when another person teaches them. They will concentrate and focus better. And take it more serious.

Re: Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

I've seen it work both ways. It looks like there are many people who do it. I've heard from both; those who know their stuff and can teach well and those who could use some lessons themselves. The one institution I'd recommend is called Qur'an Sciences Institute.

Re: Experience with online Quran teaching for kids

^ I agree.
I'd say do your research and find out about the teachers or academy/ institution before committing.

We had hired some teachers from somewhere in Pakistan 2 years ago for my youngest two siblings. The teachers promised results but didn't deliver. Despite having completed 3 chapters with my grandfather a while ago, my siblings stayed on the Noorani Qaida for more than 2 months.

After that, we did our research and found a nice academy that had enough teachers to accommodate to anyone's schedule. Most of the teachers were Haafiz-e-Quran.
With in the first few months, my siblings were on the 3 chapter, memorized 6 Qalmas as well as their meanings, as well as memorized a few small Surahs.

So yea, all depends.
