Re: Experience with bridal boutiques!!!
totally understandable!
the best part about working with boutiques is that usually they have a huge array of ready made dresses that you can choose from and customize. at least you’ll know what it looks like mostly (sans the colour you’ve chosen if its not in an offwhite or cream, of course) but in terms of style and kaam. when we took SIL to jabeen’s, they even had three different kinds of lehenga bottoms for her to try on- mermaid, straight, and a-line, so she was able to put the shirt on and select which bottom style she wanted. it was a super easy process overall. i also had my clothes made from them and it was a matter of picking out a jora, giving them the swatch i had taken, and then eliminating the kaam until it was in my budget and to my liking. bada bing, bada boom! i knew what i was getting and i was more than happy to pay for it! inshAllah your MILs shopping for you will be just as smooth and stress-free!
