I am currently debating between Saira Rizwan and FTA for my baraat dress.
Wanted to hear if anyone has had any experience of dealing with Saira Rizwan on their bridal outfits?
I am ordering from outside Pakistan and dont think I will be able to make a visit there. You think it will be safe for me to place orders with her?
So far her response via Whatsapp has been kinda slow :S

ok so i have a small update for those interested. So far I was able to have a skype session with them. The quality was horrible and I wasnt able to make out nothing of that dress. It was completely blurry. So I insisted if they could send me a close up pic or atleast a video of the dress via Whatsapp. They flat out declined saying it is not allowed to share close up pics.
How can they expect me to pay an advance on that dress if I don;t even know what I am paying for?? weird.
They told me I need to place the order atleast 4 months in advance as Dec-Jan bridals are a very time and they need to start asap so that I can get the outfit delivered on time.
Also, I have decided to NOT go ahead/deal with Farah Talib - they are extremely slow in responding Keep changing the prices and most of the time I need to keep reminding them which outfit am i even referring to. Seems like she's too busy already. Imagine I have to chase them so much just on enquiring - after placing the order - i'll have to constantly keep chasing them just to get an update on the progress I feel. Anyone else had the same experience with her or is it just me?

I dropped the idea to go with a designer for the same reasons you mentioned. I contacted sana safinaz and she never got back to me. Same situation with Karma and few others refused to show me a closeup. Let designer alone even some of the well known boutiques are reluctant to show a closeup before paying advance. Ridiculous !

Do these designers really think people so much money lying around to just blindly trust them and their instagram pics and go ahead and pay 4 lacs + for a jora?? Seriously annoying

There is this huge gown by Omar Farooq and honestly it looks gorgeous from the pics available on net. But they had a close up of the border of the same gown on a magazine cover and the work looked so horrible.

its always interesting to get insight here...its for this very precise reason and the particular reassurance overseas brides need, that we developed a concept whereby When a bridal order we placed we ship (complimentary)( within 10-12 working days) an entire moodboard of that particular bridal (entailing color/fabric and kaam swatches) so everything is right infront of you upclose and can be tweaked there and then if need be, before fullon production begins!

Just came across this post, sorry for the bump but did either of you guys end up ordering from a designer in Pakistan? Pretty ridiculous they can't even send a proper photo of the dress or respond with details - sucks because I love FTA and Saira Rizwan's work!
