So i am in karachi and want some dress stitched came across a trailor who is asking 2 thousand rupess for a cotton suit sticthed… Is it just me or that too high for a dress

OP, Rs. 2000 isn’t too much…it just comes to about $18 Dollars US. not too high a price to pay for a fine stitching.

If the lawn suit has panels and stuff that needs to be attached to the suit than the price is around 1500 pkr. Otherwise if it doesn't have those things than I have seen suits stitched for pkr 500.

Normal suits switching is 800-900 but if it's with piping then 100 rps plus and if u have separate neck embrdy patch or border then it would be plus 200-400 .so it will be around 1000-1200 with piping and embrdy all.
try in kekeshannear gulf there are good tailors who take 1000 for suit and sitching is also good and give suits on time.
