I'd go with nice first. Even though things like good cloth and cut raise the price, I think that it is possible to buy a nice outfit at a decent price. Some designer outfits are marked up just because the higher price tag adds to the exclusivity.

If the inexpensive one is equally nice, i would go for that and use the rest of the money for something else. Sometimes expensive designer wears dont appeal that much as compare to some local boutiques.
