Re: Expensive Lifestyles

nothing wrong to use a particular brand. We all tend to have our preferences in certain things. And it's quite normal!

welll...to be honest, i've seen it at alot of houses, they buy really cheap tissues.. i guess b/c htey feel its mostly a waste...

citrine, what kind of brand freaks? like all household items (cleaners, tissues, bath and body) cannot be the store/generic brand?

Hm jadugar, i don't think it's "wrong" that iuse a particular brand, but i was just wondering as to what xactly makes an "expensive" lifestyle. Like some people will get some expensive things and go cheap in others......

Re: Expensive Lifestyles

mistress

Re: Expensive Lifestyles

:hehe:

Well, it also sounds cheap and ghetto like. People form opinions about others based on their writing.

Re: Expensive Lifestyles

If one can afford nothing is expensive. My mother used to say. Hatee takay ka mill raha ho aur taka pass na ho to mahnga hay.
If an elephant is for sale only for a dime and you don't have a dime to buy it then it is expensive.

I agree with that. It varies from family to family, depending on their means. For some paying an extra buck on Kleenex is expensive abd for others spending $500 on shoes is normal. But then some wont even buy Kleenex tissue when they can easily afford it and others will buy the $500 shoes when they really cant even afford it

lol…or meri mother agay kheti hain k

“hum khud khayain gain ya haathi ko khelyea gain” :hehe:

…bolay to maintain that life style

ps. i did ask my mother “why dont we keep haathi as a pet” :hehe:

Re: Expensive Lifestyles

Expensive lifestyle is a matter of perspective.

No one ever thinks their own lifestyle is expensive.... because they look at the lifestyle of people they know who are wealthier and label that as being an expensive lifestyle.

expensive lifestyle is actually a relative term ...

have a brand tissue in ur house doesnt necesarily mean u have an expensive lifestyle ... compared to a celeb , of course not!

but compared to a person who has to get almost all their items that are store/generic brand .. then yes ..

So its relative ...

The person that thinks u have an expensive lifestyle may think so cuz he/she cant afford that kinda stuff ...
