When you bring together some of the biggest action stars from the 80s in a flick like The Expendables](The Expendables (2010) - Movie | Moviefone), you’re guaranteed of one thing: body counts that make Jason Voorhees look like a slacker. If you need further convincing, check out this absolutely awesome poster for the film – it gives you a title by title breakdown of kills for each cast member.
Coming in last, it’s a tie between Terry Crews and Randy Couture – each has a paltry two kills. Each has only done one previous action film – and let’s face it, Crews can’t kill people on Everybody Hates Chris](Everybody Hates Chris (TV Series 2005–2009) - IMDb). Steve Austin fares slightly better with 14 movie kills in two films. I’m curious about Mickey Rourke’s tally of 31 – only because Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man](Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) - Movie | Moviefone) isn’t on there and I can’t recall if he killed anyone in that movie or not. Jason Statham, who shows up with 141 movie kills, and Bruce Willis with 200 are next. Jet Li turns in a very respectable 231.
This means the final showdown (because someone left Schwarzenegger off the poster for some reason … ) comes down to Dolph Lundgren and Sylvester Stallone. That’s right – Ivan Drago vs. Rocky Balboa. The Punisher vs. Rambo. Surely Stallone wins this no problem, right? I won’t spoil the winner for you here, but I will tell you that the combined body count for all of the principals in The Expendables is 1593. That’s a whole lot of dead people.
