I am a clean freak but I also understand that the house is for people to live. So, occassional mess doesn't bother me.

A female cousin of mine is a clean nut and she gets hypertensed when guests come to her house. I stopped visiting her a few years back.

being a housewife is a bad thing...???
i don't think it is but sure many ppl do.

all that counts is , how useful/productive member of a society/household you are, in my opinion.......

there are certain expectations for each role ......but these shouldn't be dictated by outsiders ,,....its each family's own choice how they divide responsibiliies among each other.....!!

i understand your delimma Sadzz… sum people are really that inconsiderate…they just have this weird division of workin scenario…atleast you are only expected to do house chores and no one would mind if you only does house work??? some people expect us to do all the house chores as well as go to the work spending 8 hrs there including 2 hrs commuting (1 hr on each side) … n still look fresh and not tired! sigh … its the mentality u kno… just the mentality .. can’t blame anyone else :rolleyes:

Yes, but Lolly isn’t a Mullah…Hence the rule don’t apply to him…

Much of what he says is true, but we are flexible and willing to change too, provided my house is well taken care of…

Why work 5 days a week? Why not just 3?

Fayz shush, its not that bad although Im guilty of all the things you've mentioned Im afraid.

when people use my shower I make them get the mop and wipe the floor, if they dirty the dishes I make them wash and if they sleep in it they make it as soon as they leave it.

and whats with ppl using gender neutral nicks up in here? very confusing.

pyaricgudiya, sadqay jaon mein. cleanliness is half of iman... i guess i'll be concentrating on the other half then. and whats the passing score anyway.

mad_scientist, meri jan accuracy works but only initially. then as the tank empties the flow subdues. this impacts direction and as you might have noticed the flow stops all together towards the end of the fall and then comes back again... then stops and back and forth we go. This is an internal flaw in the mechanism which i am assuming happens to all men. you got something different let me know.

I'd love to have a lollypop man at my girls school helping me cross the road. the Lollypop ladies are so bloody annoying and boring.

I dont mind housework at all.. infact its good therapy. There’s absolutely nothign wrong with cooking and cleaning.. its fun. But, the problem I have is people looking down upon you just cus you dont do all this once you get home from work. Obviously, once I get married.. things will change. More responsiblity and input into the house chores.. duh.. I just dont like people who make u feel bad for not being on your feet all the time..

as a kid, during HS and uni days.. I did a lot more of the housework (if not all).. but circumstances change, and people take on different responsibilities with the change.. its natural
