Re: existence vs. essence
Take for example our own heavenly body they call the third Rock from the Sun!
if the Earth stopped moving totaly dead around its own axis and full stop around the Sun!
No more Day being replaced by Night…
all the clocks will keep ticking but the sun will never set or rise!
No more change of seasons…
will miss the Mango Season 
No more tides rising and falling…
No more Winds blowing in familiar patterns…
Oceans will experience deathly calm!
