Exfoliate ingrown hair

How do you exfoliate ingrown hair? Someone on fb suggested dry brushing with body brush natural bristles (by TBS). I don’t know if it actually works. Looks like it is going to hurt plus I don’t have that brush right now.

Re: Exfoliate ingrown hair

I do the same, dry brushing by TBS brush , in the beginning i found those bristles a bit hard as i have sensitive skin. i dry brush before shower and in shower exfoliate with a good body scrub and then moisturize. it only works (diminish) till i continuously do it as i skip or stop doing it, they come back.

Re: Exfoliate ingrown hair

exfoliate !!!

and use a skin toner like Tend Skin.. it is a bit expensive, so I recommend making it at home (which is what I do) ..

the ratio of the ingredients are = in one bottle put in 26 aspirins (uncoated), fill 2 parts with rubbing alcohol, and the rest (1 part) with witch hazel. let it sit for some time to let the aspirin dissolve as much as it can. and then put that on a cotton pad and over your legs/arms, wherever you have the ingrown hair.

NOTE = from time to time the aspirin will setttle at the bottom and bunch up, just give the bottle a good shake before you use it.

it WILL dry out your skin, which is what you want, and then use moisturizer right after it dries.. do this for at least 2 weeks everyday before you see results !!

Re: Exfoliate ingrown hair

When do you exfoliate? After waxing, daily or when your hair start growing?

Re: Exfoliate ingrown hair

After wax exfoliation is a must but that is to avoid ingrown hair. Once you have them, it can take forever to get rid of them or so it seems right now.
