Looking after yourself or not is not an option, it really is your duty to look after yourself and it is hard work. For a happy life you will need to make yourself a priority. New guidelines is 90 minutes activity per day. You can start with 15 to 20mins and work your way up. Many very very successful and horrendously busy people spend time to look after themselves. Islamically also the last Khutba mentions that your property and your body is sacred.
