I recently asked a friend of mine if they would be willing to come on webcam and do exercise during the same time I do my exercise. This would be a sort of motivation for the both of us, as I dont have an exercise partner at home, and I dont like to exercise alone. The concept is pretty simple. I turn on my webcam, they turn on theirs. Voicechat is on, with headsets, so if we need to speak we can. And encourage the other person to keep going. I personally think its a good idea. How many of you would do this? smile
By the way, my friend agreed but they have yet to set up their webcam. sigh
shahreen, I think personal trainers should take a look into this. wink
Some clients never want to have to leave their home, and if you teach them a little tech saviness, that could possibly be another way to earn income, if you are a personal trainer. It might work, or it might not. e-Diets is working so I dont see why this concept shouldnt. smile
You might have found a niche in the market there Munni. I was talking to some of my colleagues about this and they all agreed that in principle the idea is good although you would obviously have to get the right technology behind it.

Its not simply a question of technology, trainers or training partners do more than just show what to do, or guide you and motivate you, they help spot when working with free weights, and in many cases actually guide your limbs to show correct movemnet and posture, that stuff can not be obtained on an online or a workout tape etc.
Indeed Fraudia, was discussing the same thing with someone today regarding that, and thus it would be limited what can be done, but just as videos are a success I believe this can be too, even in a limited form.
