Exercise and trying for a child

Hi Guys

So I’ve been married for nearly a year and would like to have kids soon inshallah.

Im not planning on trying just right now, but just say if it did happen by surprise…is it bad to be working out at the same time?

For example they say the first 3 months are critical, so if your trying to lose weight and you do happen to be expecting..obviously you wouldnt know straight away so could that be dangerous for the child?

Or it wont make much of a difference?

Please note: by exercise i mean running on treadmill and yoga…nothing really strenuous..

Thanks

If you are in the habit of excercising then it shouldnt be an issue. Doctors actually encourage you to be active throughout your pregnancy. It makes your delivery easy, lets you get back in shape soon after birth, etc. Yoga and treadmill should be just fine, also make sure you are eating healthy and not starving yourself to lose weight.

There is more information on the net regarding this. I mostly get all my questions answered through babycentre.com
