exercise after dinner?

hi . I already know that the best time to exercise to lose weight is in the morning beforebreakfast but I dont have time in the morning so I wanted to know if I exerciseafter dinner is it still effective ..after how many hours after dinner can uexercise my exercise is mainly walking

It should be fine, esp if it's just walking. unless you were doing some very very intense exercise, you may want to wait a few hours.

I strongly prefer to work out in the AM before breakfast, but that doesn't always work for me....a few times I"ve worked out (jogging/running/lifting weights) a few hours after lunch, i was afraid of feeling ill or wanting to puke, but so far that hasn't happened.

I normally excercise after dinner aswell, they say u shud wait upto 2 hrs after u have any heavy meal.

Sorry, but that's not true! It's just more convenient for some to workout in the morning and get over with it.

But yes, you can workout anytime of the day to lose weight. I never workout right after dinner, i need to wait at least 1-3 hours (depending on what i ate) or i get nausea's.

I read in many articles that its better to exercise in the morning and weight loss is more effective whereas after dinner, if u exercise ur metabolism uses the workout to digest the dinner and weight loss is less effective

Best time to exercise is in the morning not at night. Your body when engaged in physical activity always uses the energy available in your digestive system. After its used that it uses the energy in your fat cells. That is why if you are doing some endurance training or physical training it is always recommended to bulk up on food so it can be used as energy.

I have personally noticed when I bike or walk/run that on an empty stomach I will hit a slow period but after a few minutes my body will start gathering up energy. That is when the body is actually using the fat in your body and converting it to energy.

I personally do some exercise in the morning to manage weight loss and in the afternoon/evening 3 to 5 hours after lunch to weight lift and train. Also it is very important what you eat after you exercise to gain weight. My friends have recommended protein and vegitables. No potatoes, rich or bread after exercise.

Personally I have removed most elements of complex carbohydrates from my daily diet. Its limited to bread at breakfast or noodles at night. I eat more vegetables and meats.

so that mean even if i exercise 2 to 3 hours after dinner i will be building muscle but ot not lose weight?
