Mr Xtreme has put it best for all of you guys. If you have a problem with them getting laid and drinking, then stop buying their music and opening threads in their honor :D. You are also being a hypocrite by supporting these musicians.
A lot of these paki artists, past and present, drink. Even NFAK used to drink and sing qawwalis. Ive seen him perform drunk at Universal Studios, Hollywood. Big deal.

This is nothing new. I have even seen Hadiqa and JJ drunk a few years back when they came here for a concert. I would say almost all these Pakistani singers drink.

Im not just saying what I saw. I swear to god they were Drunk! I swear to god hadiqa's brother came up to me and my brother and asked me if we can provide all of us with some liqour, and my brother just prompetly told him Im sorry, but there is a store across the street and you can get it yourself. And the next morning, my bro took them to the airport to drop them off and he could clearly tell that all of them had some good amount of alcohol since they stayed in the hotel where my bro works. Fakhr-e-Alam was also with them, but he was perfectly fine. I dont know if he didn't have alcohol or if he is just used to drinking. Don't assume im bullsh*tting cuz there is nothing to lie about here. Im just telling you what I saw. What the hell do I get from making up crap. And this happened about 4 years ago when they came for a concert...and JJ was not really religous at the time and neither did he have a beard. And I must say his live performence wasn't really impressive either.

To some extent, one can accept the fact that JJ might have been drunk but Hadiqa Kiyani?

What is more unbelivable is the fact that Fakher E Alam was not drunk.
Umair bhai, Hadiqa was really rude and so proud. I asked her if I can take a picture with her and she utterly refused. Her and her brother went along really well and his own bro asked for alcohol and I was sooo shocked. I saw her the next morning at the hotel and she did look kinda durnk to me since everyone went to downtown after the concert instead of going to their hotel rooms and sleeping. And Yes I could not believe it myself that Fakhr-e-Alam was not drunk, maybe he was but he is always hyper so it seemed normal. But he was THE NICEST celebrity who I have met. He was so friendly and down to earth. But Yeah, Hadiqa was drunk yaar, I know its hard to believe but I have seen it with my own eyes and my brother went with them all the way to the airport and I trust him, he wont lie

well I don’t find it hard to believe if any of these guys do drink or sleep around.. such behavior and attitudes are very common among the rich upperclasses in Pakistani Society.
I mean it doesn’t really matter I suppose..but at the same time claiming some kind of right to represent the ‘educated muslim world & their views’ by being their ‘voice’ and all .. !?
but it is a little disappointing.. cause you know how impressionable young people can be.. we have so few positive role models in the muslim world as it is.
