**Exclusive Launch Of Band Aas
[BAND HISTORY]
Formation of the band.
The band was formed four years ago with members naming Aatif Ali Kalyar, Ghulam Hussain Mirza and the two identical twins Nazar Shah and Yousuf Shah. Band started to jam and make melodies in the airs of Hyderabad. Early work consists of compositions in rock and pop. As time passed by the identical twins decided to quit the band and do music on the other side of the river. Aatif while playing acoustic and electric guitars as well as composing and Ghulam Hussain singing in his melodic voice kept on working together and came up with a few excellent compositions. They experimented very well in Sindhi rock which was never experienced nor tried by any other band or musician.
After making their first rock composition in Sindhi, Pyar Jay Bina they decided to put it in a manner and met another guy named Kashif Kazi who is a recording engineer, arranger and keyboard player. Kashif has done two diplomas in audio engineering from School of audio engineering Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Audio Institute of America San Francisco. First session at the KK digital studio was to lay down the drum parts. Gradually the tracks kept on taking place on the hard disk and guitars were recorded too. Finally Ghulam Hussain was called up on the microphone to lay down vocals. Singing on the marvelous guitars of Aatif and excellent arranging of Kashif, Ghulam Hussain did a fine job. The track was then put in the phase of mixing and Kashif carefully placed each sound at the required place with appropriate shape. The first ever Sindhi rock song was heard on FM101 Hyderabad. Aas the band is thankful to the team of FM101 for being cooperative and appreciating.
Soon as people heard the song, Aas the band was forced to go for the video. Kashif Kazi was again put into action for the video job. Locations were selected and a story board was decided. He recorded the video and sitting together with the band for long winter nights did the editing. Aas the band was so happy to find a guy in the neighborhood with so much talent and signed him as its recording engineer and keyboardist.
Finally the video of Pyar Jay Bina was done and played on a local Sindhi channel. Aas the band is working on Urdu songs as well as Sindhi. Soon they’ll be recording and doing a video for Urdu music TV channel. Aas the band, with an attitude and seriousness towards music has joined the lime light, so better music for the listening ears is expected.

[SONG INFO]
» A friend of ours named JAANI lives in Jamshoro (some 12 kilometers away from Hyderabad) used to sing this song on his Harmonium. One day I took my acoustic and we had a 3 to 4 hours of jamming together LIVE on Harmonium and Acoustic Guitars. He liked my sense of giving a new touch to this classical song based on a RAAG called “RAAG-e-JOAG” and gifted me his lyrics and this melody. From classical I brought this song to purely rock category but one can still feel the depth and maturity of the song comprising the quality lyrics.
Title of the song is PYAR JAY BINA means in English “Without Love” … The lyrics goes like this (with meanings).
Bekar aa hayati pyaar jay bina
(Life is nothing without love)
Jeen dharti, boond, bahaar jay bina
(Like the land without the rains and colors of spring)
This song from now is in the Air and Lips of Hyderabad.

[SONG INFO]
» Hyderabad is best known for it’s cool evenings… so one evening we all members were sitting at left bank of River Indus, enjoying the rhythms of our two acoustics. And as we all know the season of Love and then Separation hehehehe so this Tanhai (loneliness) came in our mind, and before we penned down the lyrics Me (Aatif) worked on the Chords to make it perfect, I just had an idea that for which song I’m making the melody.
Tanhayion main phirta raha…. Na rah thi koi na humsafar mila
Manzilon say guzarta raha…. Parchaaion ko lay kay chala.
Later the same evening we can only think about these two lines to give a proper meaning to what we’re making. The entire lyrics goes like this.
Tanhayion main phirta raha… Na rah thi koi na humsafar mila…
Manzilon say guzarta raha… Parchaaion ko lay kay chala…
Slight Alaap
Zindagi main aisay tanha raha… Jaisay koi barhta ta sa dhuwaan..
Zindagi main aisay tanha raha… Jaisay koi barhta ta sa dhuwaan..
Na Milayyyyyy……
Keyboard Parts…
Tanhaiyon main phirta raha… Na rah thi koi na humsafar mila…
Manzilon say guzarta raha… Parchaaion ko lay kay chala…
Who saray sapnay…. Who saray apnay..
Who jhoota jahaan na milaa…
Tanhaye………………… (Repeat)
Lead…
Tanhaye…………………(Repeat)
