I need a spam filter for Exchange 2003 for about 100 users. I dont want to use the expensive kinds. Open Source would be best, but I could not find any good ones. Budget is around $1000. I want to be able to have my users forward spam to a special email (say [email protected]) and the system should auto train itself.
Any ideas?
I have used Mail Utilities from Exclaimer (http://exclaimer.com/mailutilities.aspx). Its a little more expensive than ur budget but it does a lot more, including adding disclaimers etc to emails passing thru.
I've been using GFI Mail Essentials for past few years on my Exchange 2003 servers. Its very easy to configure and works fairly well.
You can try a fully functional trial at gfi.com
I have used GFI too... They used to be really good, now they are average... You will get rid of atleast 90% spam with GFI ... they r super cheap ; renewal/yearly cost is pretty low as well
