Yup, working out late would do that to you.
Although on the other hand, exercise can help you sleep better. Exercising right before bed will keep you awake because it stimulates your mind and releases endorphins. Its best to leave a space of a few hours between exercising and going to bed.
Yes it does if you do it right before sleeping time cause excercise increase the wrong hormones.

Good advice.
You're better off excercising in the morning (if you can). There are a couple of reasons for this. Exercising in the morning will allow you to start your day with a higher metabolism and therefore you will end up burning more calories throughout the rest of your day. In other words, it will spike your metabolism. Psychologically speaking, it will be easier for you to stick with your good eating habits throughout the day since you made such an effortful healthy choice (of exercising) first thing in the morning. You'll think twice about eating that donut! Excercing 2 hours before going to bed shouldn't affect your quality of sleep. Depending on the individual, morning excercise is better for sleep.
Just to add that exercising first thing in the morning is also better for weight loss as because your stomach is empty, your body is forced to burn off the fat reserves from your body as fuel. Plus it keeps your metabolism going all day a little faster.
FYI - most heart attack occur within the two hours after waking up (read this in a reader's digest), because our blood is thickest at this time and most likely to clot. So excercise but start slowly and remain steady.
I have the hardest time waking up in the morning...any tips for that?

The more you do it, the easier it will become.
I used to take a walk late at nite some months ago and that made me sleepless.Any kind of work out makes me refresh and even if im too tired i can not sleep right after that, morning work out burns out more calories than evening ones, try to change ur schedule that would help inshaAllah :)
