well u gotta balance urself on the ball,,, have ur lower back on the ball, and try and lift ur upper body up... just like normal situps/crunches, you might find it hard to balance at first but u,ll get there and because u have to balance and then do situps, it targets other muscles in ur abdomen as well, not just the abs. Doing weights and other exercises using the ball works those tiny muscles in the body used for balance etc.
