Before you go out buying expensive machines, have you ever worked out before? Are you sure you wont end up buying machine in enthusiasm and wouldnt just look at it after a couple of months when your inner desire has finished just like the majority of people. Its your money after all.
You can do some very good home exersices with consistency which can still bring good results without harming your wallet. Try rope jumping for 10 minutes and 5 minutes of light jogging followed by 3 sets of crunches with 10 reps each. Test yourself.

best,
Yes you may not need a machine after all, especially if you're just wanting to lose weight and/or fat from abdomen area. Simple exercises like rope jumping, crunches, pushups (girly style) would do just that. Mind you though, you would need to adjust your diet too. I'd suggest cutting on sugary/sweet stuff and maybe (if you're not seeing much results) on other foods too. If you eat 75-80% of your regular amount (while exercising) and leave some space for the water and some for breathing then that'll do the trick (I think the ideal is 50%, 25% for water and 25% for air).
If you're still wanting to do some resistance exercise (I don't know, like to sculpt arm or whatever), then you can quite easily use some common house hold items, such as books etc, as free weights (I reckon 1.5L coke bottle makes an excellent dumb bell :-) ). It's better to start in a light manner, especially if you haven't done much exercise before.
If you are just starting exercising/workout then by all means PLEASE avoid heavy exercises (I'm speaking from experience)! You should do ONLY what you can easily manage.

best,
That's only about 15 mins of cardio and would suit a beginner right?
What about someone who's been working out for a while, jogging, strength training etc, what would you suggest for them if they wanna change their routine a bit? I've already added rope skipping which is actually helping but at a very slow rate.

Thankyou.
Right, 15 mins is for the beginner. Its not time, the key is the intensity. You can do rope jumping 10 mins (non-stop) followed by jogging for 8-10 mins (non-stop) and ending at half-crunches or leg raising (5 sets with 10 reps, again non-stop). Take a break of just 1 minute while switching from one exersice to second. Follow it for atleast 15 days on daily basis without any off day. Faster result is guranteed.
