I wasn't a fan of the Kinsella books; I did quite a bit of skimming and skipping with them.
It was recommend by a friend and former coworker who had the same name as the main character in the book. I think my friend enjoyed it cuz she could relate more with the character's addiction to shopping even on a tight budget. I found the character over-the-top and not interesting enough to keep me hooked.

I didn't like the shopaholic series. I liked her standalone books after reading upsetting books. Her books made me laugh.
