Once, a poor person sought help from a few disbelievers. As a joke, they sent this poor person to Sayyiduna Ali (Radi Allah Ta'ala Anho) who was also sitting in front of them. The poor person came to Sayyiduna Ali (Radi Allah Ta'ala Anho) and stretched out his hand. Sayyiduna Ali (Radi Allah Ta'ala Anho) recited Durood Shareef ten times and blew on his hands. He (Radi Allah Ta'ala Anho) then told the person, 'Keep your hand closed and only open it in front of those people who had sent you to me.' (In the mean time, the disbelievers were laughing at this whole incident and were joking about what can be achieved with merely blowing on a person's hand). However, when the poor person came in front of them and opened his hands, his hands were filled with gold dinar! After seeing this miracle, many disbelievers became Muslims.
