Why should he pay tax on foreign earnings, especially when he was not even residing in Pakistan (since 2008 … when he made most of his money)?

Do you think people working in Arab countries, USA, UK or any foreign countries should pay tax in Pakistan on their earnings in these countries? :slight_smile:

In most countries (that include UK), if a person lives more than 183 days outside UK, than he does not pay any tax in UK. I think, same is applicable in most countries except I think USA or Canada. That means. if a person is moving around and do not spend 183 days in any one country, that person income become tax-free.

Another way is to be resident of countries that have no income tax, than income is tax free regardless of residential status.

Plus … News claim that Musharraf account has billions. What they mean, billions of paisa (where Rs 1 = 100 paisa)? … Billions of rupees, or billions of dollars.

Because, what I can see, he may have billions of paisa (where 1 billion Paisa = 1 crore rupees) .. but he surely do not have billions of rupees and certainly he do not have billions of dollars … Because:

I have seen the article by lafafa journalist Ansar Abbasi (an acclaimed Liar) … and he gave details of Musharraf accounts, but knowing that if he would give the amounts in account in dollars than it would be few million dollars, so he gave the detail in rupees.

[Actually, he converted dollars into rupee even though account were dollar accounts, and Musharraf used to earn in dollars too] :slight_smile:

Musharraf intellectual hay ... he writes book (earned him 10s of million dollars) and give lectures all around the world, at various Universities and Media outlets, collecting millions of dollars per lecture. He is in demand for his talent. He has ability to earn billion of dollars, not like Pakistani Thugs like:

Thug Nawaz who lives in his Paye and Nihari world, and can not say a single sentence without looking at Parchi (see his visit to USA and talking to media along with Obama), or Zardari who can not even spell God (remember: he spelled Goad in place of God ... at his first visit to Quaid-e-Azam Mazar). These crooks, they cannot earn a single penny honestly. No one can give them job of a chaprasi.

So, what these thugs (Shareef family, Zardari family, Bhutto family and their 100s of cronies) do is, make fool of innocent illustrate Pakistanis, and have millions of cronies they throw bones to get their support and hide their shameless, crooked design of enslaving, looting and plundering Paksitan.

^ Millions of dollars per lecture for Musharraf? LOL! Hillary, who is considered the highest paid political speaker of the world embodying a huge controversy at ~200-250K by Goldmann Sachs, just due to the sheer amount.

You probably read some goofy media press release that stated Musharraf would be paid millions of dollars right?, probably by his booking media company. Are you interested in knowing how much Musharraf made in his first speech in Grand Rapids MI for his tour? I can give you a hint, you have to drop alot of zeros from your million mark. He made an ass out of himself in most of the speeches when he answered he had no clue where Bin Laddy was, and then right after that he popped up a year later next to PMA in a fortified garrison living for years!

If that’s true then what are these foreign countries doing to close Swiss banks for supporting/encouraging/aiding and abiding in criminal activities of money laundry and thereby stealing but not returning the monies to their respective owners???
