Evil nazar

When I spoke with religious person authorized to give advice, this person had said that I have an evil nazar on me i would be highly educated but in terms of love/marriage, I’m going to suffer a lot of intense pain. That was years ago. At the time I thought it was just someone that was BSing me and totally forgot about it. But now, I look back and I see how true it’s turned out to be.

Do you all believe in evil nazar and have you heard of anything that can be recited to rid myself of it.

Re: Evil nazar

so what exactly is evil nazar? someone chants some hymns and stares at you and your life falls apart?

how do educated people believe in these things?

Re: Evil nazar

buri nazar, bad luck…I didn’t believe in it before. I am an educated woman but i’ve had a mammoth amount of bad luck when it comes to love. Not exactly in the right frame of mind. If I was such a believer in it, I would’ve believed that religious person right when I had heard it regarding my future. This was years ago. I was skeptical and never really thought of it until someone reminded me of that time after a string of seriously horrible experiences.

close to 10 of them wanted to get married fast so they could get green cards, one ended up being an abusive, controlling, gay guy and I wasted a considerable amount of time on that one, another always tended to be doing his laundry whenever we talked for the purpose of marriage so I got my hopes up for nothing( I wonder if he’s still doing his laundry:hmmm:), and this last one ended up being an immoral scumbag(sorry about the harsh word).

Re: Evil nazar

the guy was probbly a farce...there were only two possibilities, a pain free good life and a painful bad life...he took 50% chance...declared you nazar zadah...if nothing happened bad happened in your life then you will not even remember this guy's BS...since it unfortunately happened in your life by chance and now you are attributing this knowledge of unknown to this guy.

it's against Islam, it's against logic, it's against laws of sciences. we should stay away from such 'chhaR kamanDals" or else we risk losing our faith in Allah.

think of this:

Does Allah want to create a society where people of wary of each other, look at one another with suspicion, have animosity against each other due to baseless nazar thingy?

NO, Allah will not do that.

Re: Evil nazar

I believe in the existence of evil eye though I'm not sure of how exactly it works. As for this person you talked to, how did he come to the conclusion that you have nazar? Did he just look at you and say you're affected or did you have a discussion that led him to that conclusion?

Re: Evil nazar

Abu Huraira reported so many abidith from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

***The influence of an evil eye is a fact.***

Re: Evil nazar

It was a couple years ago but my first and last name, date of birth, time of birth and....that's all I remember other than what was said about how things will turn out.

In what you said, what is the translation of what was written in Urdu.

Re: Evil nazar

Ah ok. So did you ask him to check if there is anything with you and then provided him with that info?

Re: Evil nazar

Even as a nonreligious person, I totally believe in the power of prayer. A prayer, good or bad, is powerful. Nothing scares me like badduah of someone.

Re: Evil nazar

I am not very good with urdu but it would be 'Ayn Haqq hain.

Re: Evil nazar

I am looking at you with evil eye. The dinner that you had today is turning into crap as we speak :dixsi:

Re: Evil nazar

I am not an atheist and I will say I don’t go the extreme in terms of religion but once when I was having trouble with someone in my life that wouldn’t leave me alone and one issue that I wasn’t sure how to approach, a valued member told me to recite How to do (perform) Istikhara with dua. Arabic Text with Urdu and English Explaination - Istakhara
** Salah tul Istikhara

**i recited it for a few days and usually I never get dreams that are so bold. It was the loudest banging on my bedroom door in the middle of the night, waking me up, I just went back to sleep thinking it was nothing. All my doors were locked everything was as it’s supposed to be. Noone else lives with me. When I looked up dream interpretation, a loud knock on the door indicates a warning of something bad coming my way. Again I didn’t think much of it since that doesn’t make any sense.

On the day that I was going to do this one important thing that mattered to me, go up to someone I wanted to talk to for a while but wasn’t sure whether I should, that evening, something really horrible happened that I can’t mention here and that I didn’t see coming since I thought I took all measures to end it. A few days after that another very sad event happened where someone close to me got injured in the most rare way.

Okay it’s difficult to say that these things had any relation to reciting the dua but I won’t be so bold as to say Allah doesn’t exist or say that certain things might be BS. I’m more on the “I don’t know” mode when it comes to all this
