Yes. It was a very long (meaning more than 100 posts) thread about living with in-laws posted in the General forum .... turned into quite a bit of an argument.

Majestic, let me rephrase it again since you don't want to marry for whatever reason so does it mean that you have an evil perception of mother in law?

It varies from person to person. Some people have had wonderful experiences with MILs and others haven't. I suggest you go and read those threads ..... I'm too tired to repeat my stand on the issue. :)

My mother taught me that I should look at a mother-in-law as a second mother. As far as if I'd be able to act upon this in real-life, is yet to be seen. Hopefully she would see me as a daughter as well.

Its hard to generalise and say that ALL mothers-in-law are evil.......it all depends on the person. Personally speaking I like my mother-in-law, we get on well and since having had a baby I find her advice and help invaluable.
