my hubby is flight attendant in PIA.. recently he met a greek psychic in the flight and she gave him the evil eye locket. she said this locket can protect you from the calamities etc… he doesnt not believe in all this things…then he gave it to me.. the stone or locket is really looks so beautiful…lekin kya woh waqai evil eye se bachata hai? woh original aisa hi hota hai ya usko banaya gaya hai? what do u guys think should i wear this locket or throw it in the garbage?

I really don't know. waisy my mum got me a taveez for this purpose...Because she thinks that its buri-nazar that makes me ill every other day...
I am wearing that taveez every time around my neck.
But i can't say anything about stones or locket...

Islamically, I think a taaweez is more likely to protect from nazar than an eye pendant.
My friend got me an evil eye bracelet in Turkey, it looks like this one:
I think though many cultures believe in the evil eye, wearing markings for protection is a cultural thing in that general area of the world (turkey, greece, cyprus etc. / old constituents of the ottoman empire)

i've seen this stone/pendant hanging in many houses....but i believe more in taweez as most of them have quranic verses written in them

dont believe on stone, you have to read sura naasa and sura falak in oreder to protect from evil eyes.

I dont believe in taweez or this pendant, I think just reading surahs is enough.
However, I got a necklace from Istanbul the evil eye one and wear it because it looks pretty.

you better throw it into the garbage. It could be "mahbook aap k qadmo mein" taveez by that lady to a handsome flight attendent and and you may loose him soon if he keeps that taveez with him:D
