We usually hear/talks about ‘so and so ko nazar lag gai’. Can a wife’s ‘evil eye’ effects on her Husband or vice-versa?

Re: Evil Eye To Husband/Wife
If it's said that ma ki nazar bhi lag sakti hai bachay ko....so then it can happen with other relations as well.
Re: Evil Eye To Husband/Wife
Peace redvelvet,
Never crossed my mind ke ‘Ma’ ki bhi nazar lag sakti hy apny bachay ko ![]()
Re: Evil Eye To Husband/Wife
I usually have hard time in understanding these things, whenever something good goes bad every one put their believe in someone evil eye did that, at times even point to a person saying that his/her evil eye done it, i feel this is more like making up of reason by yourself by blaming someone, there is something like evil eye but it cant be in every person, or maybe i am not right.
i wonder how can be one sure that its evil eye not something happened naturally or mistakenly happened
Re: Evil Eye To Husband/Wife
^very hard to diagnose the actual reason, although I believed it as it is a tenet of islam I don't think I thought it could happen to me...apparently it did and mom read some surahs daily to lessen the symptoms, and all of it went away, now I read ayat ul kursi or quls regularly before I go to sleep...
Re: Evil Eye To Husband/Wife
Peace All,
What I hav seen when some1 effected by 'evil eye', a member from victim's side use alum to cure/remove effects of evil eye. He or she moves alum severals time around victim's head and than burn it. While burning the alum by itself take a shape of kinda face. They hit it with slippers seven times and victim is cured from that 'evil eye'.
Do any1 know about this i.e., the use of alum?

there are several similar rituals.......using mirchain, using slippers only, etc., etc.
none of this is prescribed/appreciated by Islam.

Peace,
Mirchain, usling slippers, aag mein kuch daalna etc., isn’t like a sorcerer, fortune teller and soothsayer do? I think than it is copied from them. ![]()

we should not believe in such things, if they have been not prescribed in islam. This kind of remind me Hindus Bad shagun, Ab shagun thingy.
