Okay nobody lives a perfect life. But let’s imagine for a minute a couple that faces ALL of the issues mentioned in Life1 - all the way from cradle to grave. Please add to the potential issues this couple will face.
Abid was the only son of his parents and Saira the only daughter of her parents. Abid was a mama’s boy and Saira a daddy’s girl. Abid had no idea how to pick up after himself and Saira no clue how to put together a meal. Yet, in University (after much woo’ing and mutual phansa-ing) they fell in love, despite their parent’s objections. What issues will this couple face? Stay tuned for the next installment…
Please add the next hurdle or drama based on what we see in Life1.
**
PEOPLE WE ARE SATIRIZING LIFE1 - the couple must live a long and unhappy life - no killing them off early.**
We'll choose the more likely situation: Yes, Abid and Saira convince/force their parents to agree to the wedding. Abid's mother does not like Saira so she's not very friendly to Saira - she doesn't think that Saira was good enough for her son after she's no idea how to make her son's pasandeeda nihari aur niwaalay kaun bana kai deyga Abid ko?
On the same hand, Saira's mother dreads Saira marrying where she's not welcome and where the family is not up their standards and is peechay say kaan bhar-ing Saira about what sort of a DIL and wife she should be - how she needs to learn to "control" her husband.
What's next for this couple? Please describe what happens during the engagement - what drama may occur (remember, there is much inspiration from Life1 about issues faced by the couple).
Sehryshhh ... it didn't go that way ... they couldn't convince their parents and in protest they comitted suicide and hung themselves. Kahani hi khatam
Kahani itni mukhtasir si nahin ho sakti - the story must go on!
ok ok ... on the fuenral everyones crying but the abid's dad blames saira for his son's death and in revenge kills saira's dad ... now continue the story
Now we're talking! Saira's mother is aghast that Abid has such a small living space. So she demands that Abid's parent's move his dadi out of her room - bring down the wall between the rooms and give Saira a larger room to live in.
During this time, the family's were planning the engagement and Saira didn't get to pick her own engagement dress. The dress given to her by her MIL was a puce colour and had peetal jaisa kaam on it.
In retaliation, Saira's mum bought Abid a shalwar kameez suit that was two sizes two small.
Both of their parents were happy that Abid and Saira are willing to move in together in a closet . The only problem was their extra large size and it wasn’t really possible to fit them both in a normal closet .
Naami - your next chapter was too late - only Abid's parents were okay - Saira's parents made the dadi move from her room to give Saira more room and closet space for all of her things.
after renovation, when saira's family and abid come into his bigger room for inspection , he gets a panic attack/heart attack, everybody rushes to the hospital and there, they discover abid is suffering from this mental disorder called agoraphobia

After the diagnosis, Saira's parents are even more against the wedding - but have no choice but to agree. They add some conditions to the nikkah for haq meher. They want 5 camels, 2 horses, 3 luxury cars, a mansion and a maid for their daughter.
