but you still need Punjab on your side where PML (N) is in majority and in a position to form a government without the support of PPP. So if PPP went alone at the centre, NS will more than likely do the same in Punjab and the rest we can all guess.....

PML (N), despite the rhetoric will not make the same mistakes as it did during BB's tenure. Things have moved on in Pakistan in the past 20 years. It is an era of compromises and NRO.
If Nawaz Sharif makes too much of hue and cry, and a new elections are called if the coalition at the centre is not workable, then PML (N) has a lot more to lose that PPP, as PPP has shown itself to be a true national party that wants to move on and govern for the betterment of Pakistan. Whereas people are now realising that PML (N) is there only for its personal agenda and is only full of rhetoric. So if the elections are held again, PPP will do much better in Punjab than it did on Feb 18. PML (N) knows this. :)
