a similar picture was taken after the Earthquake that hit Istanbul a few years ago. It was an eagle's eye view and the picture was remarkable, everything surrounding the mosque had turned to rubble but the Mosque stood.
Where? Ive been watching the news eagerly and all the networks specifiically mentioned and showed the mosques - I didnt see any temple but would like to see the photos.
Why? The Almighty can do anything he choses - even if that means protecting a hindu temple and destroying a mosque.

In Sri Lanka it is the other way, Sri Lankan Minister of Public Security, Law and Order and Buddhist affairs, Ratnasiri Wickremanayake, found time and money to do a survey of damaged buildings and monuments across Sri Lanka just to make the openly chauvinist comment: “Although most temples in those districts were devastated by tidal waves, Buddha statues in temples were unharmed”. He claimed this was proof that non-Buddhist religions like Hinduism and Islam were evil!
This was because all the mosques were destroyed so were the Hindu temples, only remaining were Buddhist temples with Buddha statues intact ...........
