i don't see any post by ahmad in that thread... don't really know what all the hoopla is about.
but even if he said that he beat up someone for being gay, what is wrong with that? i know its wrong to beat up people and stuff but we don't even know if he actually did such a thing... he could've made it up for all we know. People are posting stories all the times of what they did or what happened to them. if he was encouraging others to beat up gays then yes it should've been edited and him given a verbal warning not to do it again... but ban em? come on

So it is completely acceptable for GS to allow certain people to keep on posting after they proudly admitted to beating someone up for no reason but their hate? What if he had bragged about beating someone because he wasn't Punjabi or Pathan, or because he didn't like his face? You didn't read his post, the guy was clearly proud of it like he had won a medal for it.
ChaCha, here are the words of AhmedNSX, judge for yourself whether you think theres something wrong here. Personally, I hope that he did make it all up but somehow I doubt it. And if you think its ok to break someones jaw and teeth because they are different then you too have alot to learn. The words below are those of a sociopath who has no control over his rage. If I were his parent, I'd have him committed to a mental institution until his rage were more under control - he IS a danger to others. If he even suspects someone of homosexuality, no telling what he'll do to them. He truly needs help here.

There is a difference dabba dude: the policing you see is for violations of forum rules, abusive language towards others in forum, obscene imagery, foul language and trolling etc
Sameenji, you miss the point here. The only issue here is that the guy is so very proud of beating the living daylights out of a person HE feels has no right to live. He put a fellow human being in the hospital for NO REASON and is actually proud that he did it. Dont you see something wrong with that and dont you find that to be offensive?
IF the guy had simply stated his hatred without detailing his uncontrolled rage and the resulting JAIL TIMEof which he is so proud, there wouldnt be a problem here at all.
the issue is not whether its right or wrong to hit people for any reason or whether someone takes pride in the act… the issue is does the expression of such sentiments warrant action by the administration of this site…
i disagree with ahmad’s behaviour but i defend his right to express his feelings as long as he is not encouraging violence against anyone or violating the forum rules without people jumping on him and trying to get him banned…
i’ve seen this episode before when a user with the nick existationalist expressed her views about motherhood and raising kids which did not conform to the norms and people ganged up on her and nagged her until she decided to quit
i agree with 5abi that we are not the moral police and need to back off a little when it comes to judging others
Chacha, I see what you're saying. And you're right to a degree...but when someone posts his wish of death to people of a certain type, thats just not socially acceptable - be it on a forum on the internet or anywhere else. Its also offensive in the extreme to boast of putting an innocent in the hospital. Like I've said all along...if the guy had simply expressed hatred for gay people, this wouldnt have blown up. But he felt the need to boast of his incarceration for violating the basic human rights of an innocent person and put him in the hospital. He is not being judged for expressing an opinion. He's being judged for thinking its ok to break the law, violate human rights and hurt innocent people to the point that they are maimed for life.
No one has banned him but I do see how GS people would not want him here. He's offensive. He's a sociopath. And he's not representative of the types of people who enjoy the site.
