Everyday medicines & side effects

Many of us have used at least one of the following type of drug. Some people use them frequently, but how many of us actually read the worrisome side effects they have?

Painkillers:
NSAIDS (non steroidal anti inflammatory dugs), e.g., Ibuprofen, Aspirin, can cause ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, weaken the stomach’s defenses. If you have a shooting pain in your gut, you know you have to rush to the doc.

Antidepressants:
Continuous use can greatly affect sexual function.

Statins:
Which are essentially to manage cholesterol, can interfere with proteins that help sustain muscle thereby causing aches and pains.

Serious. Yes. Talk to your doctor before you plan to take any of these and discuss cause and effect.

with the pain killers, if you're over medicating urself, that is not something occasional, then it can seriously affect ur health. but that does not mean that if u have seriously injured ur self and need a pain killer to manage that pain, you shouldn't. but if you have a mild headache, or cramps, manage it with a home remedy.
