Its like The Wonder Years except its about Chris Rock’s childhood. Premiers Thursday at 8 pm on City TV in the GTA. Don’t know about elsewhere. Looking forward to it though.

I thought it was alright. Must admit not as funny as i expected. I'm still optimistic about it though. First episodes are usually more about introducing the characters. I'm guessing it will become more interesting as time goes on.
Just a couple of things i found wierd. Chris Rock used his big chicken joke in the very first episode. Since all of Chris Rock fans already know the big piece of chicken joke, it didnt seem really very funny when he used that in this first episode. Almost makes you feel like he's running out of jokes already. The other thing was the show was really short. Hardly 18-20 minutes!
Anyway so that was my analysis of the first episode. Looking forward to coming episodes.

like the show, not as funny as expected but definitely somethin to look forward to, especially the part about old principle was the best
